On Friday 25th of April, the general meeting of AUTIG was held, of which Triscan has been a member for more than 30 years. After the general assembly itself, the rest of the afternoon was spent on presentations on the latest political developments in the EU in relation to the aftermarket, by Ana Claudia Manuelito from FIGIEFA and presentations on the future of working life, by anthropologist Dennis Nørmark. 

The introduction of our 8647 16025 bolt set has been a success, making it easy for workshops to carry out timing belt changes on Ford Ecoboost 1.0 engines according to Ford regulations. Depending on which timing belt set you prefer, the content is adapted to the specific set.

Timing belt changes on the widely used PSA 1.2 PureTech engine, which is used in a myriad of car models from Citroen, DS, Peugeot, Opel and Toyota, can be a bit of a challenge. In addition to the components of the timing belt drive itself, Stellantis prescribes a large number of gaskets, bolts and other parts that need to be replaced at the same time. 

The handbrake cable with the following OE-no. is listed as a discontinued item at Volvo: 30742642, 31262940 and 31257680 (Triscan ref. 814027141). According to Volvo, the handbrake cable can be replaced with the following OE-no.: 31340068 and 31362965 (Triscan ref. 814027153). However, this is not possible because the brackets for attaching the handbrake cable with part number 814027141 is offset 10 mm from 814027153 on the vehicle.

In addition to air bellows, air struts and compressors, we can now also offer 17 references in valve blocks - for vehicles from BMW, Mercedes, VAG and TESLA - equipped with air suspension. 

The latest expansion of our range of drive shafts for EV vehicles now also covers the Opel Mokka E, DS3 E, Peugeot E-2008 and Citroën E-C4.

Warehouse Manager Søren Kaare Nielsen has been elected Vice-chairman of LUU – Transport and Logistics, Aarhus. The committee acts as an advisory committee to schools that offer labour market training and/or vocational training.   

Søren Kaare Nielsen has been part of LUU – transport and logistics, Aarhus since 2023 and was elected Vice-chairman in connection with a generational change in the committee, where the chairmanship went to Christian Sørensen from the trade union 3F. 

As the global focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria intensifies, many SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) like Triscan are at a crossroads. While large companies often have dedicated teams and resources to adapt to ESG standards, SMEs often have to take a different approach to adopting and implementing effective ESG practices. 

With the appointment of Pernille Toft - to strengthen our sales support team - we are also expanding the team's language skills to include French. Over the past few years, we have experienced great progress in France - and with the title of International Sales Support, Pernille will primarily support our sales team and customers in France, but also Finland, Poland and Romania.
