The repair shop chain Din Verkstad Syd AB sees great opportunities with a new repair shop and customer management system

Already a few months after Din Verkstad Syd AB's three branches started using TriSys as a repair shop and customer management system, it is clear to the owners that the decision was absolutely right. Now they are just looking forward to getting even more of the system's functionalities put into operation.     

All of Din Verkstad Syd AB's repair shops are located in southern Sweden (Skåne) and at the repair shop in Klippan, we meet up with Jesper Andersson, who has been responsible for the implementation of TriSys. The repair shop chain, which was established in 2020, has until the change in May 2025 had a solution from Nextlane (Kobra/FordonsData/Imaweb).

"The flexibility we were missing has been achieved with TriSys. We have got a system that is easy to adapt to our specific needs, and the system is super-fast." 

From the beginning, Din Verkstad Syd AB has focused on offering customers quality, security and good service. In addition to the personal service, the good service also includes services that make it easy to be a customer of Din Verkstad Syd AB – including online booking.

"Before the change to TriSys, we could already offer our customers to book appointments online. We have not changed that, but the online booking system in TriSys is much easier to manage. Previously, we did not have the option of communicating with our customers via 2-way SMS. We have that now, and it is a very efficient way of communicating that saves both our customers and us a lot of time in comparison to using the phone." 

At Din Verkstad Syd AB, a new website is being developed, which to a greater extent than the current one is optimized for mobile devices, but also communication in order of priority - SMS, email and last phone. 

"With the new website, we will make it easy for customers to be self-reliant and we will reduce the number of phone calls. Without being in telephone contact with us, the customer can arrange the booking of service and loaner car, signature, drop-off, payment and pick-up." 

The management of loaner cars is also done easily in TriSys. Din Verkstad Syd AB has been used to and is very pleased to be able to use NETS's payment solution, which supports both credit cards and payment solutions via smartphone. This is of course also an option in TriSys which they continue to use.

So far, customers who want to return the car outside opening hours are offered traditional key drop-offs, but in the long term, Din Verkstad Syd AB are considering introducing an integrated solution for key boxes that enable pick-up outside normal opening hours. After completing the payment, the customer receives an SMS with a code that must be used to open the key box. 

Jesper Andersson sees TriSys' many integration options as a great advantage.

"We have not previously had very many integration opportunities, but we do now. For example, we are very happy with the integration to Autofrontal. We will also switch to testers and other equipment from Autofrontal." 

The company's underlying financial system is Fortnox, to which TriSys also has an integration. 

"Our three repair shops are run as one company with three locations, each of which constitutes a cost center in Fortnox. In this way, we have both an overview of the entire business and each individual branch separately. We can already see that the financial part has become much less time-consuming.”

Jesper Andersson is also pleased that TriSys is a cloud-based solution. The system is hosted on servers from Amazon, with the assurance of both ongoing backup and reliability. Over the next few months, Jesper Andersson is going to focus on getting several of the modules in TriSys up and running

"We will set up the warehouse module for handling internal consumables for each individual repair shop. We are also going to start using the module for managing our tire hotel. Here, we have great expectations in relation to taking advantage of the opportunity to use the integration to a tire scanning system. Last but not least, we also plan for the mechanics to use handheld devices in the form of smartphones or tablets."

At Din Verkstad Syd AB, the ambitions are high, and the owners are optimistic about the future. TriSys has not changed this attitude – on the contrary.

"Even though we have only just started with a completely new system, we are already working more efficiently than we did before. I am therefore also very much looking forward to exploiting the full potential and experiencing how great the efficiency is when we are in full operation with all modules. We have a flexible system that provides an overview that can be continuously adapted to our needs, and which will contribute to the development of our business."
