Triscan's annual report for 2024: Growth at the top, but not at the bottom

Corp news

In the recently published financial statements for 2024, we have once again managed to increase revenue. However, caution in relation to announcing price increases in the market, combined with rising raw material and freight prices, has meant that the bottom does not quite follow.

"Overall, we are satisfied with the results for 2024. Our entire team, which counts around 120 colleagues, has once again delivered a fantastic effort in 2024, without which we would not have been able to achieve our goals", Michael Juul Hansen, CEO, Triscan a/s.

In contrast to a stagnant domestic market, Triscan has been able to note a reasonable growth in the export markets. It is thus sales to the company's 40 export countries that contribute to the growth.

"Of course, we are annoyed that revenue growth has not quite found its way to the bottom line. 2024 was characterized by rising commodity prices and especially increasing freight. Due to the fierce competition that characterizes the market, we have not been able to price it through to our customers. Therefore, we have only had a limited increase in our profits".

True to tradition, Triscan has launched several exciting product news in 2024, but also a new catalog/e-commerce system that will make life easier for Triscan's customers and at the same time contribute to growth for both parties. The same will apply to 2025, where the first news has already been introduced.

"We have just launched new product groups in the form of hoses for both the air conditioning system and power steering, just as we are about to introduce refurbished starters and generators. Triweb, our catalog and e-commerce system launched in 2002, has taken a well-deserved retirement. The transition from Triweb to Tricat, as the new solution is called, has gone almost completely smoothly. At the same time, we have received a lot of positive feedback from customers, who have received Tricat very well".

On the employee side, new things have also happened at Triscan – including in sales, sales support and ESG. Bo Schønfeld has changed his title from CSO to CCO and has at the same time joined Triscan a/s as a co-owner. In sales support, the team has been expanded with Mia Rasmussen and Pernille Toft. Last but not least, Marie Markmann has joined as ESG and Compliance Officer

"We have strengthened the organization by hiring even more competent employees - so with a strengthened organization, even more products in the range and a catalogue and e-commerce system - 2025 also promises to be a reasonable year for Triscan", Michael Juul Hansen, CEO, Triscan a/s.
