It is with some form of sadness that from January 1st we will say a definite goodbye to our old e-commerce system - TRIWEB 1.0 – which belongs to one of the pioneers among e-commerce systems in Denmark. From January 1st and forward it will solely be possible to use the new system - TRIWEB 2.0 – which can be found at triweb2.triscan.dk. The successor is ready to take over ….
History
TRIWEB 1.0 was launched in the year 2000 and subsequently it was nominated for the coveted Danish E-commerce award in 2002. During the years, TRIWEB 1.0 has been adapted and expanded to keep pace with the users’ wishes and the technological development within this area. However, the kernel of the system has basically always been the same.
Despite many years of experience the new TRIWEB 2.0 has been developed in collaboration with a large number of our wholesalers. We have received many ideas for new features, which have been implemented into our new solution; it is essential for us to meet the customers’ demands because today more than 90% of our orders are placed electronically.
TRIWEB 2.0 is a 3-in-1 solution
• TRICAT – a freely accessible catalogue (without prices) which you, as a wholesaler, can offer to your customers.
• TRIWEB - an order system for wholesalers • TRIXNET – an information portal with useful information about campaigns, TECNEWS etc.
New and improved features in TRIWEB 2.0
• 2 search options: Car-Id or Car model/reference no.
• 2 options of displaying the product - a simple view or a detailed view with photos
• Stock status shown directly in the catalogue
• Product status (is the product entering the programme, is it active, is it on its way out) • Improved data quality
• Possibility to create individual user settings
• Comparison function which shows the differences between the products, you wish to compare
• Display of main product groups and subgroups in a new and logic way
TRICAT – freely accessible/open electronic catalogue
Everybody needs current and updated information in our industry, and it is not possible with the traditional printed catalogues which are already out of date the same day they are printed. In addition the catalogues are both time consuming and expensive to produce and can be harmful to the environment. For us, the TRICAT is the solution to this problem. Everybody has access to TRICAT and can use it to find all information about our products – even more information than you will find in the traditional printed version.
Intelligent comparison function
One of the new features in Triscan’s electronic catalogue, TRICAT, is the comparison function that, unlike other known solutions, only shows the differences between the products that are compared. It is not uncommon for a car model to be delivered with three different brake systems. Many of the specifications of the brake discs will be identical, and to make the comparison as simple and clear as possible, only the differences are shown.
TRIWEB order system
For Triscan’s customers TRICAT will be a part of the order system TRIWEB, which you will be able to log on to as a registered customer.
Like the previous version of TRIWEB we have had focus on combining the catalogue and the shopping cart in one display. We have worked hard to minimize the number of mouse-clicks you need to do to place an electronic order. In addition to this the completely new and clear way of displaying the main product groups and the subgroup makes it easy to find the spare parts you are looking for.
TRIXNET – lots of useful information
But there is more to the new TRIWEB2.0 than the order system. The system also includes the TRIXNET - our information portal/extranet – which was launched in 2011. In TRIXNET you will find a lot of useful information such as technical data sheets, our newsletter TRISCAN NEWS, installation guides and campaign material to mention some. As you can see the TRIWEB 2.0 can be referred to as a 3-in-1 solution fulfilling several needs at the same time!
