This year, we can celebrate our 50th anniversary as a strong and innovative player in the automotive aftermarket. From the very beginning until today, we have been driven by a clear mission: to provide quality spare parts and create value for our customers. The anniversary is not just an opportunity to look back – it is first and foremost an opportunity to look forward in an industry that is undergoing change.

From Tridon Scandinavia to Triscan 
The story of Triscan started in 1976, when American-owned Tridon established a subsidiary under the name Tridon Scandinavia A/S in Denmark. Back then, the focus was completely different from today. Compared to today, we had a narrow product range that was allocated primarily to workshops and gas stations in Scandinavia. In the late 90s, senior executives were given the opportunity to take over the company, which subsequently led to a change in both name, product and sales strategy. Since then, the product range, which is sold exclusively at the wholesale and distributor level, has developed considerably, and our customers can now be found in most of Europe, but also outside Europe's borders. Since the end of 2025, we have again gained American owners, as A.P.A. Industries LLC is today the majority shareholder

Economic growth and internationalisation
We are proud that we have succeeded in developing Triscan into what we are today – including having:

  • Achieved steady growth year after year
  • Expanded our presence to more than 40 markets
  • Invested in logistics and IT systems that ensure fast delivery and efficient management of an assortment of over 50,000 item numbers
  • Established strategic partnerships with wholesalers and distributors
  • Strengthened our position in an industry characterized by globalization
