Triscan publishes its first sustainability report

Corp news

Triscan a/s has taken an important step towards a more responsible and transparent future by publishing its first sustainability report. Although Triscan is not legally obliged to prepare a sustainability report, we have chosen to do so anyway based on the EU's VSME standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting for SMEs). The report is yet another example of how sustainability becomes an integral part of the company's strategy and communication.

The EU VSME standard has been developed to make it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to report on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts. By following this standard, we ensure that reporting is structured, comparable and trustworthy – for the benefit of both customers, partners and us.

Customers gain insight into how Triscan works with sustainability, including reduction of carbon footprint, responsible supplier management and social initiatives. It creates security and strengthens relationships. Many companies are themselves under pressure to document sustainability in their value chain. Triscan's report makes it easier for customers to meet their own requirements and reporting obligations. By choosing a supplier that works actively with sustainability, customers can strengthen their brand and position themselves as responsible players.

Benefits for Triscan
Sustainability is no longer a choice – it is a competitive parameter. The reporting shows that Triscan is proactive and future-proof. By mapping environmental and social risks, the company can act early and avoid potential problems in the supply chain. More companies are only choosing suppliers with proven ESG efforts. The report opens the door to new markets and collaborations. The sustainability report creates pride internally and motivates employees to contribute to the company's green journey.

"We see sustainability as a natural part of our business strategy. With this report, we want to create full transparency and document our efforts for a more responsible value chain. It is not just a demand from the market – it is a promise to our customers and employees that we take responsibility for the future," says Michael Juul Hansen, CEO, Triscan a/s.

Triscan a/s has committed to preparing a sustainability report every financial year. This ensures continuity, documentation of progress and the opportunity to set new ambitious targets. Reporting thus becomes a key tool in the company's long-term strategy.

With the publication of its first sustainability report, Triscan sends a clear signal of responsibility and future-proofing. It is an investment in trust, transparency and long-term growth – for the benefit of both customers and the company itself.
