To complement Triscan’s programme of parts for the synchronization between the crankshaft and camshaft / camshafts, the programme is now expanded to include timing chain kit. The programme currently includes more than 40 references and will be extended ongoing.
Triscan’s timing chain kits are – just as Triscan’s timing belt kits – of very high quality. The majority of Triscan’s timing chain kits are supplied with chains produced by Germany's largest manufacturer of timing chains for the European automotive industry. The kits contain – according to the reference - parts such as chain tensioner, chain collector, gear, brackets, bolts and seals.
Tool for mounting the timing chain
No maintenance and a lifespan that lasts forever - this is the dream scenario for cars with timing chains. But the reality is sadly different. As a car owner, it is important to first and foremost comply with the prescribed maintenance and replacement intervals for the timing chain. If such does not exist, it is important that the car owner is aware of the symptoms that can reveal problems with the chain: uneven engine running or persistent noise from the timing chain.
If, by accident a timing chain breaks or if the chain just needs to be replaced, Triscan is the place to go.
