Triscan expands its stock with more than 8,000 picking locations - and environment optimizes at the same time

Tech news

It is now almost 2 years since we expanded our main warehouse in Aarhus with 1,700 m2 - and although 2 new warehouses in Germany also have been added, we are in need of more space

The shortage is partly due to Triscans general prosperity, but must also be attributed to increases in our product range. We have therefore invested in further expansion of the warehouse in Arhus, to make space for a new venture. In practical terms, we have created a " interposed deck " in one of our warehouses, which has given us an additional 8,000 picking locations to work with. The total number of “small picking locations” is improved significantly - and as a side benefit resulting in a further streamline of our pick and storing.

In connection with the establishment of the new stock, we have decided to focus even more on environmental solutions in logistics department, i.a. by setting up LED lights. "For us it is extremely important that we focus on the environment in everything we do ," Logistics Director Morten Hallum said.

In 2012, Triscan became co-owner of an environmental and waste management company called PartsLife, who engages with eco-friendly disposal and recycling within the European automobile industry. "In March, Partslife paid us a visit to provide input to the energy, waste and recycling optimization," says Morten Hallum, and he continues, "We want to show that we are a responsible and environmentally conscious company. It is important for us to follow the environmental guidelines set by the EU and the national authorities in the markets where Triscan sells its products.”

More space and many references in a good environment!
