A new newsletter a new test device. Due to the very positive effect our Triscan Test Center has on our customer service and internal quality assurance service, we continue to invest in expanding it. Our newly built ABS tester is the latest addition. Here we describe how this works and why it is so valuable.
To ensure a high level of service and quality, we continuously expand our in-house test facilities. Our latest acquisition is an EGR valve tester. In the following paragraphs we will explain why in-house testing equipment has high priority for us and how the EGR valve-tester works.
Here at Triscan quality has priority. Therefore, producers are visited regularly and spot checking is carried out on products when they arrive at our central warehouse. Furthermore, we carry out extensive tests internally, both on our own and the products of our competitors. Two recent examples have once again proven why in-house testing is important and why it is so important to expand in this area.
Many workshops and wholesalers have gradually become acquainted with the frequently used EGR-valve that applies to diesel engines of the types 1.4, 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0 TDIs. Despite several attempts, VAG or other aftermarket actors have not succeeded in solving the problem. Based on our own technical studies, we in this article unveil why the EGR valve stops working too quickly.
It is not always certain that error codes give a true and fair view of which parts should be replaced to solve a problem. And all too often, this leads to questioning of the quality of the replaced part, which, logically, does not solve the real problem.
Connected cars and extended vehicle service are key concepts in the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. The technology that leads to increased digitalization is based on data collection in real time and it is no longer uncommon for a modern car to generate 5 GB of data per hour.
We are constantly expanding our program of oil drain plugs - and, as something new, we can now also offer the following oil drain plug and tool for VAG with TFSI and TSI engines.

With 16 locations and more than 100 employees, Hirsch Autoteile GmbH is an important player on the German market. Hirsch and Triscan have been cooperating since 2012, and this cooperation has been intensified in the last two years. For Managing Director Mr. Joachim Hirsch, one thing is certain: the customer is the focus. The collaboration with Triscan works, among other things, due to the matching philosophies of the two companies. "We like that the cooperation takes place at eye level, is uncomplicated and is based on a partnership where a deal is a deal". To be able to provide the best service for all customers, you need reliable suppliers that can deliver a wide range of products and make the day-to-day business easier.

No one has said that it's easy to become the top of the class! And when the goal is finally reached, how do you maintain this position? Cleaning the cooling system when replacing the water pump has suddenly become a hot topic. The garages do of course wonder why this extra workflow suddenly is necessary when it never before has been a requirement? Some car owners will probably also be puzzled by the extra posting on the garage bill, and therefore the garages should be able to provide them with a well-based answer. The explanation is not quite simple, but let us start with the reason why it is necessary: the water pump.
Triscan has once again expanded its already comprehensive sensor programme, which now also includes more than 190 references of EGR valves in OE quality. The EGR valves will to in TriWeb from mid September and in TecDoc from October 1st.
A lot has happened within gearshift cables since Triscan in 2012 introduced them in the product range. At that time, we started out with the introduction of a little more than 100 cables - primarily for European cars - and since then the programme has grown to 162 references.
An exhaust pipe connector is not just a connector and few may know that the position of the connector in the exhaust system determines which of a total of three types should be used.
At Triscan we are focused on keeping the yellow jersey and the title as European champion in offering the widest steering part programme. The task is challenging and not as simple and straightforward as one might think - and it is not uncommon that we even initiate development and production of steering parts.

In their efforts to create a well-functioning recycling system for old calipers, Budweg has prepared some updated return instructions, which in its simplicity describes the individual processes in a correct return.

The clip is sold originally as an individual component (PSA OE 4341.14), but at a cost far exceeding the value of the cables - and therefore making a repair costly.
In an effort to maintain a high level of quality, Triscan continuously invests in various equipment, which is used in the internal quality control.
